What’s goin’ on everyone? As you probably have seen/heard, The Tracks were on a bit of a hiatus after the summer months. No, nothing’s bad with Excelsior. As a matter of fact, things are going great for us in our personal lives! Unfortunately, the show/website took a bit of a backseat while we have been dominating, but we’re back.
We’d like to welcome all of the new listeners who have contacted us over the past year, and thank those who have stuck with the show since the beginning in 2005! (Damn.) Since I’m feeling a bit sentimental about where the show has successfully progressed to since its inception, we’re going to be highlighting some of our favorite past interviews as a Classic Interview Series.
To kick off the Classic Interview Series, we’re going to start with Gregg Gillis aka Girl Talk. As many of you may already know, today (December 7) was named “Gregg Gillis Day” in Gregg’s hometown of Pittsburgh, PA. The honoring city councilman said that “Gregg has become an international sensation selling out performances around the world. I am honored to recognize all of the accomplishments of one of our native sons.” We’ve always been a big fan of Gregg as a musician and a great guy, so check out our podcast feed to listen to our interview with him a few years ago during the Night Ripper era! Also, make sure you get a hold of Gregg’s latest offering, All Day, for free on IllegalArt.net!
Thanks again to the 135,000+ listeners worldwide, and we look forward to bringing you tons of great content in the future!
