Editor’s Note: Metal shows are brutal. Everyone knows that pits break out at any time, and anywhere. It’s a sad fact that someone died at Lamb of God’s show. Randy didn’t go out into the crowd, he didn’t start a fight… The man rushed the stage three times, and Randy was protecting himself by pushing the man back into the crowd.
Need we revisit what happened to Pantera’s Dimebag Darrell? A crazed fan rushed the stage, shot and killed Dimebag.
Is it a shame that someone ended up dead in Czechoslovakia? Of course. However, once someone repeatedly rushes past security barricades, bands will defend themselves. 99% of the time, fans are harmless, but one can never tell.
I hope that the LOG family comes out free and clear, and Randy is quickly/safely released.
