DragonForce just gave Europe the best news it has heard all year.
The band announced a 22-date European headline tour for April and May 2027, with Visions of Atlantis and Wings of Steel along for the whole ride. It starts April 9 at the Bataclan in Paris and wraps May 8 at Manchester Academy, with London, Wolverhampton, Cologne, Berlin, Warsaw, and Vienna in between. Presales start September 28, and the public on-sale hits September 30 through dragonforce.com/shows.
The tour lands exactly three weeks after their new self-titled tenth album, DragonForce, out March 19 on Napalm Records. That is their first self-titled record in ten albums, which tells you how much they mean it. The lead single Hunger of the Beast is already out.
And they are playing a special Inhuman Rampage set on the run. That 2006 record turns twenty, and the shredders are celebrating right. New lead vocalist Alissa White-Gluz is leading the charge, and guitarist Herman Li calls this a new era for the band.
Florida people, listen up. Before Europe, they are running an Inhuman Rampage 20th anniversary tour across North America in November and December, with stops at the House of Blues in Lake Buena Vista on November 20 and the Ritz Ybor in Tampa on November 21. Speed metal in the holiday season. I love it.
