Four years since the last album, The Interrupters are back with Warrior Spirit, and it has some serious punk royalty fingerprints on it.
Tim Armstrong, Jesse Michaels, Travis Barker, and Brett Gurewitz all touched this one. That is Rancid, Operation Ivy, Blink-182, and Bad Religion's label boss in one studio. Early 80s new wave synths over the ska upbeat, and yes, there is a video.
The 2027 tour is a monster. Over thirty dates across the US and Canada, March 17 in Pomona through May 2 in Anaheim. The big story: Doom Regulator, Tim Armstrong and Jesse Michaels' project, is playing live for the first time ever on this run.
The support is a festival lineup on wheels. The Aquabats, RAT BOY, The Mainliners, The Bandulus, The Chin Chins, and J and Nicki Bonner split the dates. Canada gets Montreal, Toronto, and London, Ontario in April.
Ska punk is in very good hands.
