Louder Than Life just announced 200 bands and I need to sit down

Iron Maiden, Pantera, Megadeth, MCR, Limp Bizkit, and Tool across four days. Nearly 200 bands on seven stages. Louisville, September 17 to 20.

Two hundred bands. Seven stages. Four days. Louder Than Life just dropped the full 2026 lineup and it might be the biggest thing Danny Wimmer has ever put together.

Thursday is Iron Maiden, Pantera, and Megadeth. That is three generations of heavy royalty on one day, and Pantera are barely playing the States this year. Friday is My Chemical Romance with Pierce The Veil and A Day To Remember. Saturday is Limp Bizkit, Papa Roach, and Sublime. Sunday is Tool closing with Gojira and Danny Elfman, who has not played the eastern US in nearly a decade.

Saturday also gets one of the most stacked all female fronted stage lineups ever at a US rock fest. Halestorm, In This Moment, Lindsey Stirling, Orianthi. Come on.

September 17 to 20, Louisville, Kentucky. And yes, the Kentucky Kingdom rides are included, because nothing says metal like a roller coaster between sets.
