Some live albums are a cash grab. This one is a time machine.
Metal Church is putting out a live album on October 9 through MIG, recorded at the Rock Hard Festival in Gelsenkirchen, Germany back in 2016. Professionally captured by WDR Rockpalast, and it has been sitting there for ten years. The CD even comes with a DVD of the full show.
This is the Mike Howe era, which matters. Howe came back to the band in 2015, cut XI with them, and took them back out on the road. The late singer at full power, ten years preserved. That is going to hit a lot of people right in the chest.
Thirteen tracks:
Fake Healer, In Mourning, Watch The Children Pray, The Human Factor, the whole deal. If you grew up on this band, Friday is your day.
